The challenge of committing

What’s the issue most people have when it comes to health?

You say you want a certain level of health and vitality but you’re not getting it.

What’s stopping you?

A lack of commitment.

Because…when it comes to losing weight, quitting smoking, eating healthy, changing your negative self-talk, managing your stress to help with your blood pressure, or getting physical fit and strong…

…you have to be 100% committed to achieve long term results!

Even when you don’t commit to living a healthy lifestyle, it’s still a commitment. It’s a commitment to a life that happens to you not for you.

You give up the power of making deliberate decisions to create exceptional health and vitality.

Maybe you believe that you can’t have exceptional health and vitality.

Have you ever been fully committed to the idea of transforming your health but you didn’t follow up with purposeful action? This could be because you didn’t have a plan in place.

Or you say you’re committed but when your commitment is challenged…you quit!

If you want to elevate your health and vitality you have to be willing to put in the effort.

That means putting in consistent effort to not only break your old unhealthy habits but, replace them with new healthier ones.

How long does this all take I hear you say?

Well, most of the research shows that it can take 30 days to break a habit.

But you can’t stop there!

Why not?

Because your old habits are so well ingrained into your nervous system. So, it takes consistent and persistent effort to permanently change them. Your body wants you to keep doing the same old familiar things (aka – the easy road). The problem with the easy road is that it’s not going to get you the results you truly desire.

That’s why it takes at least 90 days.

You need this time to get the new healthier habit ingrained into your nervous system.

So, when you choose what you’re going to commit to…be prepared to be challenged by your decision.

Don’t let your mind or body trick you into quitting!

Ask yourself…when it comes to your health and vitality, what one thing will you commit to…no matter what?

Remember, YOU have the power to steer your own course towards exceptional health and vitality.
